Obtaining a Visa in Romania

Obtaining a romanian visa may be necessary for some business activites in Romania, such as doing ridesharing, food delivery, or freelancing jobs that require physical presence.

While we mainly specialize in business registration, many of our entepreneurs are foreigners interested to relocate to Romania, so in this article, we will discuss what it means to get a visa, as well as the requirements to legally get a visa, and a residence permit in Romania, and as such - the EU.

Ce este o viză română?

A Romanian visa is the right to visit Romania for various purposes and to stay in the country for a specified period.

The period varies depending on the type of visa, but in summary, obtaining a visa is the first step towards relocating to Romania or starting an on-premise business within the country.

The 3 question guide

Getting and needing a visa depends on you answering yes to the following questions, and as such, it's a good way to see if you are entitled to get a romanian visa in the first place.

  1. Is the purpose of getting your visa in this list?
    1. To start a business venture.
    2. To be employed in Romania
    3. To visit Romania on a short-term business visa.
  2. Do i have at least 6000 EUR in my bank account, as proof of funds? (Mandatory)
  3. Do I know a internationally spoken language (eg: English)?

If the answer is yes to all of these 3 questions, then you most probabbly qualify for a visa, and can apply for one.

However, what we can't guarantee is that we will be able to help everyone. Our focus is on assisting entrepreneurs from other countries who are looking to initiate ventures in Romania, rather than general immigration or recruitment services.
