6 Favorite Purchases Under $100 That Have Been Practical

Alexandra Ardelean

Hey everyone, I'm Alexandra from and today I'm going to share with you my 6 favorite purchases under $100 that have been practical and improved my life. Dash Camera (Cost: $50-$100)

The first item is a dash camera. You can get one for as low as $50 and as high as $100. I think it's so important to have a dash camera in your car because you never know what can happen on the road. For example, my cousin got into a car accident and the other person sued him for something that wasn't his fault. If he had a dash camera, he would've had evidence to prove that it wasn't his fault. There are also a lot of insurance fraud incidents where people will jump in front of your car and pretend like you hit them. Having a dash camera can protect you from these false claims. So, I highly recommend investing in a dash camera for your own protection.

Basic Health Test (Cost: About $100)

The next thing is getting an annual basic health test. This includes blood work and everything else that's necessary to catch potential health issues early. Even if you feel healthy, it's still important to get these tests done because early detection can prevent major health issues down the line.

Moomoo App Promotion (Cost: Free stocks)

Before we continue, I want to give a quick shoutout to Moomoo. They're offering free stocks if you scan this QR code or use the link in the description. It's a great way to start investing with no risk.

Egg Timer (Cost: About $17)

The third item is an egg timer. You can get one for about $17 on Amazon. I use this all the time when I need to be productive. For example, if I need to study or work on something, I'll set the timer for 25 minutes and during those 25 minutes, I'll be completely focused on my task. Once the timer goes off, I'll take a 5-minute break and then repeat the process.

Laptop Stand (Cost: About $100)

The next thing is a laptop stand. You can get one for about $100 on Amazon. This is so important because it prevents "tech neck" and back pain from looking down at your laptop screen all day.

obd2 Scanner (Cost: About $20)

The fifth item is an obd2 scanner for cars. You can get one for about $20 on Amazon. This is so useful because it allows you to read error codes and understand what's wrong with your car without always needing to go to a mechanic.

Notebooks (Cost: About $10 each)

The last thing is notebooks. You can get them for about $10 each at any store. I use notebooks all the time for journaling my thoughts and ideas over time. In fact, I've been journaling for almost 10 years now and it's so interesting to look back at my old journals and see how much I've grown.

Bonus Item:

  • Locking Cookie Jar (Cost: About $65-$70)

This isn't under $100 but it's still worth mentioning - it's a locking cookie jar with a timer. You can get one for about $65-$70 on Amazon. This has been so useful for me because it limits my phone usage throughout the day which increases my productivity.

Before we end, I want to give another shoutout to SoFi for offering a bank account with about 4% interest which is unheard of nowadays. Make sure to check out their other products as well using the link in the description.
